(Yah I know....it's cabin fever) Went to do another tobaggon hill today. It got up to +4C (39.2F), the sun got out and managed to find a variety of targets. I can't believe how well this 250 ACE works on snow. It gets great depth and just "Bangs" when it hits a coin.

22 coins = $1.81. Also found a partial bunch of (fake) pearls and a piece of silver, probably from a bracelet. It looks like the artwork on it is from the local natives. What a great day!

John Is there any thing you do different with the detector when out detecting? How does the cold effect the machine? I thought i could last till spring but i got the sickness and i cant shake it.Any tips on cold weather detecting would be greatly appreciated.Dennis
