Roanoke City Parks & Recreation metal detecting permit today and it didn't cost me anything.....And I can see why
Ih short I can't detect near or on any type of sports field.Cannot detect under any tree or under its tree canopy.area..Cannot detect near any building or park structure. I cannot detect any path be it natural, gravel, or any such path . Cannot detect any greenway etc. So what does it leave me with? in short a stroll through a park wishing I could detect it.? I didn't gain anything did I?Got to admitt somebody went through alot of trouble thinking this permit up.LOL

Yes and unfortuately to say, I think it's going to be an increasingly PITA!------I gotta ad this---It makes me VERY SAD (the invetiable, STUPID regulations).

Stand perfectly still...........and I will toss coins at ya.

D&P-OR echoed my sentiments exactly. PITA.....and a worthless permit.

guess they was tryin' to tell ya something!
