I played with it in the yard today, getting ready to take it hunting tomorrow. I like what I have seen so far. I will be hunting some sites that I have hunted for a while, one like 3 yrs. I did talk to Minelab today and asked about the other coils and sounds like we will be getting a 6" or something smaller that the 9". Also 2 DD coils. Good luck to all you X-Men. HH..BJ or X-Man.

I just got mine on Friday also. I played around with it and passed a few coins under it just to try it out. I don't know when I'll get to hit the dirt with it. I'll be interested in seeing what other coils they actually produce.

I live in Noble and I was hunting in OKC today, on the east side of OKC.We do most of our hunting up there. One of our friends came up from Duncan and hunted with us today. all we found was clad and about 10 wheaties. We have made some good finds up there. You will have to join us some time. HH...BJ

I used my X-50 today for about 6 hrs. All I found was clad, but this site is well hunted for over 20 yrs,we have been hunting it for 3 yrs. I like the way it pin points, there at the last, I did not even use PP...HH..BJ

I worked an area with my XT50 w/9" coil that is loaded with trash. I pulled a bunch of clad quarters and one standing liberty as well as many dimes and pennies. But the area is so full of trash that I went back with my CZ6a with 5" coil and pulled out another 15 quarters with one been a '51 washington, 53 pennies and 4 dimes. I need that small coil on the XT50. I tried using the 8" coil on the CZ and it was just about impossible to use the machine unless I kicked up the disc then alot of masking took place. The 9" on the XT50 worked so much better than the CZ w/8" coil. With that said, I do believe a 5" XT coil would work better than the 5" CZ coil in all that heavy trash. HH John

I also have a CZ 3D with the 5" coil on it. I wish that my CZ with 8" coil pin pointed as good as the X-50 does with the 9". After a while, I Pin Pointed in the disc mode. Our ground is so hard, we need a lot of rain. Digging is not fun. HH...BJ
