Out "LOOT LOOK'N" tonite after work for a couple of hours. I scored a nice silver dime amongst the loot. I put the sniper coil on the ACE 250 and searched near metal play equipment. I found lots of loot that others missed. The sports fields were searched using the GTI 2500/Stock Imaging Coil.

Gotta love that silver. I found a 1974 Canadian dime yesterday. When did they quit making silver dimes up your way John?

A couple of nice finds there John.
To the top right of silver dime, there is a coin that looks a lot like an Aussie 1 cent piece (With the queen on it). Do Canadian coins still use the Queens head on them, or someone elses now?
Thanks.
Mick Evans.

Thanks for posting John. This post has just scored me a 1978 Canadian quarter!(standard) My wife passed through your fair country 3 years ago.She was returning from a trip with her family from Estonia, stopping in Toronto for a couple of days. They got to see Niagara Falls. She came home with a number of Canadian coins. She tells me that you have quite a variety in your quarters; just like we do with our $1 coins.
Mick Evans.
