Finds were scarce, but I did manage to get a big one. 14KT, but the stone tested FAKE. OH well still a lot of gold. A Friend scaled it at 10.1 grams.

Why would anyone use fake diamonds in a 14KT gold ring? I ask a friend that and he said his father had a ring from the 1950's. He said that's what some people did back then. Has anyone ever heard of this. Maybe I can date this ring?
