Found a new cellar hole last weekend that gave up some goodies.Looked for it last year but couldn't find it.Gave another try and stumbled across it,it is not the typical deep hole just some rocks piled on top of the ground.I got a nice hit 3-4" down under a big pine root and out popped a nice green button.I brushed it off and seen some gold shine on it so I put the Aluminum Jelly to it.Boy does this thing have a ton of gilt on it.It is a solid one piece with the shank still intacked,back mark Benedict & Burnham Extra.It dates between 1834-1843.Took other pictures but the camera setting was too high to post.
