I finally got an se today Ive been using an eureka gold but Im not sure about the se do I need to know anything special about it. thanks

Actually, as with all detectors, familiarity will prove the day. Use it, and dig everything for about the first month at least, so that you see what different targets will do. It is an awesome machine. As good as it gets today.

I took it out for a couple hours and found a lot of old brass and copper from what looked like an old sink and also found a brass dog collar tag at about 9" only problem it was still around the dead dogs neck

An SE and Eureka Gold - what an interesting combination.
Hope to see how the SE works out for you.
I've heard some use gold machines for relic with success.
3 frequencies for the Eureka Gold would seem to make it somewhat versatile. HH

Well I do alot of prospecting also so it worked alright but I did have an old sov that I used for relic hunting but it caught on fire and burned up Ive always had a lot of bad luck Im hoping it will change
