GOT A NEW QUESTION ON DX1 PROBES

jog

New member
I have been told that the DX1 Probe will give readouts on my MXT Display. Is the accuracy of the probe better than the MD itself. If it gives a reading down to 4" will it give an accurate reading if i were to remove 1" at a time until i am to the coin.Just trying to get all the info i can before i slap down the bucks.

Jog, Yes it read out on the display of your MXT. It is VERY accurate, as though it's a coil in itself. Can't say it's better than the MD itself. YES it gives a reading down to 4" with the same reading if it were only 1" deep.....only louder as you get closer to your object. It's the best thing since 'sliced bread'. No kidding. Even in surface finds when the grass is tall....it will tell you 100% where the target is at. Money well spent. I can't say enough good about the DX-1 pinpointer. You'll never leave it behind since it's attached to your MXT with very little weight! And I do mean very little. It's on my MXT all the time! Can't get any better pinpointer......It's like an mini 1" coil. IMHO, Nancy

Hey Jog, Nancy is 100% right best investment one can make. You will wander how you got along with out it.....

Very highly recommend it.

Well i was at the park tonight with my kids,it was getting dark so i was using my Whites Bullseye pin pointer to see the display on my MXT.It had been acting up and it finely took the big plunge. So i guess a DX1 is in order come pay day. Thanks for all the info.Hey Bob,are you and Nancy in cahoots it sounds like there is an echo.HAHA.

I have to agree with Nancy It is well worth the bucks!!!!!!!! When you pull the pinpoint, the sound will direct you right to the object.

Where's the best place to purchase the DX1?

David Just go to the forum just below this one it is the SunRay forum The Owner Is on the site all the time. You click on one of the banners at the top of the main forum page and then click on dealer locater and then what state and you can find your local dealer they usually run just over $170. but your holes will be much smaller guaranteed.

There's an ad banner here on the MXT Forum page at the top. Just click on Sunray Detector Electronics! You won't regret it! HH, Nancy
