Got a new grill....

REVIER

Well-known member
...and I don't mean a Weber.

Totally forgot about this thing because I found it on the same hunt as that nice silver and gold ring.
Just strange...I believe it is silver because it came up clean and the dirty parts cleaned up easily.
A cross hatch design with H-B initials.
Guess where I found it?
Right next to a basketball court which for me is bling central.
Tomorrow is my club meeting for the month.
I believe I might just have the winning entry in the most unusual finds contest.

Never hear of a "Silver" Grill, but have heard of Platinum ones! Maybe you hit the jackpot! Any way your'e doing better than I am.GL & HH!

Could also be gold..i would have it tested.. i have found 2 over the years..one was 10k other was junk...good luck..

Not gold, might not even be silver but there are a ton of sites on the net that sell all kinds of these things in all kinds of metals.
The silver ones aren't all that more expensive compared to the junk ones and they did come up clean from a few inches deep.

Its always a surprise to see what you are gonna find next!:clapping: Good Luck at the Club Hunt! I found a grill while out detecting on the beach a few years back...sold it at the Wifes garage sale for 3 dollars!...

I found one at the beach last winter. It is yellow so it might be gold. I have not had it tested. It was an eyeball find just as the coil was swinging towards it. Saw it and then heard the tones from the Excal.

Someone should have kept their mouth shut.

I think you may have a win in that that finds category. It's going to be a real conversation piece. The acid test kits for metals are not expensive. Our club asked the membership who was committed to buy one then we got at least 10 real nice comets kits with wooden cases that store everything. I paid around $30.-$35. for mine and I use it. I see them without the case on that auction site for 1/2 that. Here's what I use
I once got a bridge with 4 front teeth in my water scoop, it was :)at me!
I hope you got some gold or platinum there. Congrats!

Well, due to the fact that lots of the club members are older than 30...way over than 30 for a lot of us, I won second place because ha l f the members didn't have a clue as to what this thing was.
