Got a Like New Sovereign GT his week

Hey All I bought a like new sov gt and it has the standard stock 10 in coil ,but it also has an 8 in coinsearch coil looks , like it was never used . I'm a beach hunter and I'm just wondering if I should keep this 8 in coil or sell it and get a 12 WOT coil . Don't know if the 8 would be good at the beach.... Guzz1

The 8 inch would be better in the dirt. If you are not going to hunt dirt I would sell it for a WOT or SEF.

It depends. If you plan on touching the water at all with the coil forget the WOT and the S-12 for that matter. I had a s-12 for a long time did lots of testing, I cound NOT get more depth than the stock 10 inch. If your not near the water some extra coverage can help.

Guzz, the Coinsearch coil is great on land but in your case on the beach around water put it on the auction block to help pay for a larger coil is a good idea.HH Ron

Hey Guz, I think if U R going 2 hunt Siesta stay with the 8 otherwise GET THE WOT. It is a no BRAINIER

I'd take the other side....Dig up all the old threads in here and the beach forum on the 15x12 compared to the WOT. Many like the SEF better but read all the pros and cons of both and decide for yourself which it should be.
