this will be my main stay machine for a while i guess kind of excited to get another and have just about have every coil option for it 3 3/4" i'm waiting for in the mail still then the 5" and the standard and got a 10.5" and in week or so will get the rare 5 x 10" rare eliptical coil so should all set with hunting needs for a while

I will be watching for a update on your like new 1270.

I have been kicking around making that may next machine, but I am thinking I will need to get rid of my CZ-5 before I can buy another. Right now I am not sure if that would be a good move or not, the CZ-5 is a pretty good machine.

you can generaly pick up one of these between $275.00 to $350.00 range used and i think your kind of better off because the F/T versions where i've read on different forums at least 2 i know have had to be sent back shorting out or probs of some sort, I really beleive in these machines, just for some reasons unless your like shooter and i people have a hard time with them, the only reason i sold mine is i had a bad day and got mad and stuck it on for sale and everything sold that would never happen again, but they are deep i was searching a field last spring and got a 12k gold locket aout 1" x 1" 3/16" thick maybe at 10" deep and a solid hit almost did'nt dig because the 1270 pinpoint will run wide and making you think its bigger than it really is sometimes so just pick up the coil and go over it and sometimes cutting the sens back also helps as well, once you learn this machine i think you'l like it, and yes it is on the bit heavy side 3.5lbs but to me it fits me like a glove and usually i prefer a S handle style machine than joy stick style.

Well thanks for the good information, this kind of stuff sure helps. Nothing better than getting information from somebody that has done been there and done that. Thanks again Ron

PS nice locket
