Got a job = less detecting.

Hello,

I got re-hired last Monday at the factory I quit two years ago. Whew, I thought I would never find a new job. Not bad timing since winter is almost upon us in the midwest. Chicago area. Detecting will be limited to weekends weather permitting. Oh well. I will be making more money working in one day than I have found this whole year detecting. Clad and all. I did find a nice gold ring. But still.
Am not going to give up detecting, I love it. Looking forward to next year and better weather for detecting. I will keep reading here in the mean time.
Take care all, and HH.
Dan.

Congratulations on your new job. I imagine it probably helps to ease the worries a bit. I hope it works out well for you. Hope you can get out on the weekends and find some goodies--don't forget to post what you find. Good luck and happy hunting.

Too many folks without work who rely on everthing else to take care of them...be thankfull for the work. The detecting will be there for ya bro. Congats!

I wish I could get paid $7/hr to detect. I'd be wealthy.

Actually I'm glad you go your job. I hope it works out for you and congratulations on getting hired man!!

Thanks everyone,
Am going hunting with some metal friends on Sunday to a Boy Scout camp in the Chi area. I haven't hunted that area yet, but they have had success finding silver there. Last week one of my friends found 4 silver dimes in one hole......2 rosies and 2 mercs.
