Now I just need to find another Cleansweep coil.

You know Del, we both just get the itch sometimes, and the only way to cure the itch is to scratch it.

The one I got coming is the old tone version. I'm going to have to send it in and have it updated to the new tones. For me, the new tone version really lived up to it's name, 'Golden'.

Want to get another Cleansweep and one of those new 10x12 DD coils for it and I'll be set.

Mike it looks like you're back in the saddle again. I presently use the new tone Golden

Good luck with it Mike! I'm down to one tesoro, GSII over on the modifications thread. Hopefully by Christmas the new tone Golden umax will be out!

Mike I spotted that one you got.... Really wanted one but just got a brand spanking new Omega, alas no extra scratch.
You did get it for a nice price too.

Been wanting to try the CS on my Cutlass micro. Though I am curious , does the sensitivity of a machine to small items ( earrings, pendants etc.) With that big old' coil?

Congrats again,

Lakota

Mike,
So ... how long until you sell this one? :lmfao:

Congrats on getting back into the Golden game. Always enjoyed your reports on the Golden and your use of and finds with it.
Cheers,

Tabman,
In the chips I use the notch width setting for my non-ferrous discriminator. Disc set at minimum, Notch Width set at 8:00 to 8:30ish, Notch off, Sensitivity middle of the red, and Threshold set at 3:00.

In the turf (if the turf isn't too high) I set the Notch Width nickel tone to sound off for the size gold I'm looking for.

This Golden is mostly for the chips where I require the Cleansweep coil.

CS coil doesn't act like a big coil. It is basically a 3-1/2" coil with a long foot print. So sensitivity to small stuff is still there.

I dug a half-dime earlier in the year and had the Cleansweep on the business end. Tall grass really has a negative impact, but otherwise it is one fine way to cover some ground.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. I will take a tone ID over a meter any day, and with the golden I still have the ability to fine tune the detector for my preference. Good Luck:tesoro::thumbup:

Looking forward to it, Coinjumper!

Got it last night. A little adjustment and I'll be good to go once I find me another Cleansweep coil.
