Got a go on the six incher, but...

Finally got a go on the six. Gotta say its a great little coil.
Talk about get in amongst the scrub where others cant.
I took it to a place where I had smashed it to death signal wise and being able to slot into the tight spots picked up a lump of quartz with a bit over 1/4 ounce of gold in it. It absolutely howled in. I did notice though a slight left hand shift in small iron fragments which would have disced out with the eliptical. Maybe it was the ground or maybe Im guessing because of the added sensitivity of the 6 changed things just slightly. No probs though getting used to , nothing at all really. I picked up another small specie with about .1 of a g in it which came in nice and loud. Testing showed there to be a bit more sens to bits from a gram down. Id,ing rubbish was no drama either and it performed pretty much like the eliptical with no perceivable diff in my opinion.
On the end of the Terra though it a strange lookng little thing and you feel sort of like walking in sand uphill if you know what I mean when swinging it, your used to moving ahead a bit faster and it feels really slow. For gold hunters its for sure a must have coil, wicked.
BUT, the person I get my gear of has some back orders and I got in late and have to WAIT. The one I used was a demo coil. Ahh, at least my life is consistant.

How much for the little blighter? And you are talking about the DD coil right? I thought it was just the concentric's comin 1st and the DD's later. All I can say is about fire-truckin time!
Cheers B.T.

Im pickin one up for $175 bucks and its the last one in the shop LOL....must be my lucky day hey!
Cheers B.T!

I must admit it looked bloody weird at first but once you get used to its smallness its groovy. I used it for about 40 Min's at my new place....we have a creek in our backyard which only runs in the wet season and is dry at the moment so I took it for a spin. I must say I'm quite impressed with the sensitivity and how agile it is amongst rocks and hard to get into places. It discriminated well in prospect mode and at sensitivity 30 she screamed on every target.....Alot of trash in the creek by the way Lol. You wont even notice her in the backpack when traveling and it feels like a solid little coil. Well with the this little beauty and the elliptical coil combined I cant wait to hit some gold fields and old sites. I just want to thank George at the Miners Den for always being there when you need him.....thanks heaps George!
Cheers!

Glad you guys like the 6" its a cracking little coil but I still like my elliptical especially being 18.75kHz.

I can also poke the Toe and the heel into small places.:thumbup:Jerry.
