My brother Kevin from Virginia talked me into going to this hunt last year.I always enjoy these seeded hunts because you get to meet face to face with other treasure hunters.Lots of stories swapped and a chance to see what equipment other people are using.More reasons I attended the hunt was a chance to visit my mom in Lynch burg VA and the drive through on the WV Turnpike and a park search in Charleston.Camp Alta Mons at 2842 Crockett Springs Road Shawsville,VA. 24162 is the site location south of Roanoke VA.Nice park, clean rest rooms, nice ground to dig for a seeded hunt. The seeded hunt I attended had clad dollars, halves, and quarters mixed in with the silver. My brother didn't like the clad mixed but I thought this extended the search and I still took in enough silver to pay for the 125.00 entry fees and expenses for the trip with cash left over.(The Sovereign paid for my trip) I didn't like the prize token setup where token numbers 1-10 won the top prizes, example the Buckeye hunt all the tokens had a chance to win the top prizes by letting the hunters pick random numbers off a board. The best part of these hunts, no spin, the best hunter and equipment will find more coins.I'm looking forward attending some of these competitive hunts this coming season.By the way got flyers in for the Buckeye and the Big week Indiana hunt.Maybe will get to meet a few Sovereign Hunters at these events.HH Ron
