Got a first today...

I searched around an old homesite today for a few hours and although finds are getting scarce now, I did score this two cent piece... my first one.
It is pretty rough shape with no date, but I'm happy with it.
Maybe the next one will be in better condition.
Thanks for looking,
Felix

Great find. When I find coins that are toasted, I take a piece of emery cloth, wet it and REAL LIGHTLY rub it a couple times then check it. Repeat until you think you have the most detail. This is what I do to TOASTED coins!! DO NOT DO THIS TO ALL COINS. Just my way to bring out some details. From the look in the picture, if it were my coin I would try it. Looks like it would bring some details out and maybe a date. JMO
