Got a few this week.

Hi All, The week has been really cold but I have a problem staying home. The beach is still sanded in but I managed to pull up a few pieces.A 14K hoop earring,10K green stone earring and a 10K Dad ring that had a lot of green corrosion on it so I soaked it in vinegar and brushed most of it off and then used a dremel to polish it. Good Luck! Walter

Wow, beautiful finds. How deep in the water were they? Or, were they in the wet or dry sand? I use a White's PI and usually hunt this time of year in waist to chest deep water on the Connecticut shoreling. By the way, those photos are great, what make and model camera did you take them with if you don't mind?
Thanks, Rick

Thanks Rick,I do hunt in water but when it is 25 degrees I hit the wet sand.I use Sovereign + Wot or Excaliber. My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 990. Good Luck! Walter

The rest of the loot is excellent as always Walter! Do you have any idea on the stones in the ladies ring?

BDA:cool:

Looks like it may be Peridot stones on the earring. Great finds, especially for such a bleak season.

Nice stuff Walter :) I noticed this week our beaches are getting some sand movement with the stiff westerlies we have been having :) I'm looking forward to getting in the water even if it is in the low 30's now :)
