Got a few more keepers out of the field...

I hunted the same field as last weekend. Pickin's were slim but I managed to find this stuff. That is a horse bridle rosette, 1864 two cent piece and two buttons. Anybody know if the anchor one is military? Both shanks are missing from the buttons. No back mark on the big one. The anchor one is all rusted up, so nothing is visible.

It was a fun hunt. As I was leaving, I got permission from a neighbor to hunt his yard (residence there back in 1860)!

Best of luck to all and HH - BF

Nice finds...love that two-cent !!

GREAT STUFF ! Can`t wait to see the stuff from the new site. HH

new to me but I will be doing a lot more of it.

Brad has been researching a lot of spots for us. Now the key is to hit them after the rain backs off...but before the farmers get them planted.

Nice looking 2 cent piece fang.

I found it on the Internet listed as a patriotic button - non-dug $25.
