Well I went back to the house I hit yesterday and Got 3 more indians 1885,1898,1899 Got 5 Wheats 10,19d,20,40,58d. Also got my first silver from this place it's just a 43 washington but I'll take it! Also got a 1950 Rabies Vaccinated Tag Fort Dogde & Some sort of alum band with numbers on it. A flat button got some sort of writing on it but it's hard to make out! If it's any thing like my last one it's suppose to be civil war era! Also some sort of medal that says on the Front "Different From The Rest Sharples Tubular Cream Separators" The Back Says "The Sharples Separator Co. West Chester PA, Chicago Ill, San Francisco Cal, Toronto Can, Winnipeg Can, Portage Ore"

A Lock not sure how to date those! and some sort of alum Medal and I think the lead from a bullet.

Great day of digging!
All I got to dig today was the sod off my front yard. Re-sodding this week. I thought I had all my coins out but one penny was found just under the sod at the edge of the walkway!
Keep it up Mike!

Is probably a pidgeons leg band. Give me the numbers and letters and I can possibly give you the date and place the pidgeon originated.

From where it's fasten together it looks like in big letters OAB then a L over a 45 then 87246

That would be cool if you could get that :) Thanks for trying anyway

Great bunch of finds. I might know someone who might be interested in buying that Cream Seperator Item. I don't really know what it is but it is interesting. I thought maybe it is something like a Watch Fob but not sure. If interested in selling it or trading it for some coins, PM me and I will give you the info.

Thanks for the nice comments! I will have to think about the trading aspect! I'm not into selling things! I'll PM Yea!

Hey Mike. You might want to contact your Local DNR or wild life refuge about the Bird Band. They keep track of the migration of birds and such. They can also tell you the origin of the bird and how old etc. I know we had a member of our club, Ross Soderberg who returned one of those bands and they gave him a nice certificate for returning it. Just something to think about.
