1979 Susan B. Anthony dollar 11inches deep loud hard 85 signal at beach

My at pro was signing great high numbers every swing mixed in with mid low numbers at 8-10 inches deep,Should I dig them all up?

Found me a hot spot within 10 feet range I pulled out nickel silver and 8 wheats plus the dollar, can't wait to hit the water looks like it been no sign of detectorist here.

It sure sounds like a hotspot with the wheats...must have been a big washout? Anyway, focus up on those nickles and foil signals for the little womens gold, and the regular penny signals for the big mens gold rings, and report back!

I'm using Custom pro audio on 37 discrimination and sensitivity at max is this ok?

Should I use pro zero

Hi my rapture soul

Those are great finds.

As suggested here from other more experienced detectorists than myself, is to dig everything at first to better understand how the machine sounds on different targets in different environments. I run my wide open and dig everything making notes on each target I find and how deep it was.

Up here where I live (British Columbia), the coins are a lot different in make up than the American coins are and I get a lot of Iron/Low Tone readings from them when they are deeper than 3 or 4 inches (In Mineralised Ground (91-93)). I can't help to feel that you may be loosing some good targets that fall under the "37" range.

Just a thought.:)

I use Pro mode, iron Disc at 35, Iron audio on and full Sens(or as high as possible). go slow and listen for thoughs deep signals. Good luck.

Pro mode, Zero Discrim, Iron Audio off to get low/med/high tones. You'll get alot of sound info, but move the coil slow and LOW and listen for those solid loud/soft tones that repeat both directions. Also circle the target and swing from differant directions on it. If the tone stays the same or firms up, DIG! If it disappears and the pinpointer is off to the side, it's probably a nail or iron, but dig to learn.
