Got a couple of Mr Garretts books for Christmans

I got a copy of "The New Successful Coin Hunting" and "Treasure Hunting for fun and Profit". I've read the coin hunting one and while there is a lot of really good information in there, I'm disappointed in one respect. This is the 15th printing, June 2007 and while it was reprinted then, it obviously was not revised. At one point he says, ' as we approach the 21st century', which tells me it hasn't been revised since the late '90s. How many detectors have been introduced since then? Including Mr Garretts own Ace series. As I said, there is a lot of good info in there, but I expected something a little more current, especially in dealing with his own product line. Just my thoughts.

I thought that the "The New Successful Coin Hunting" and the "Urban Treasure Hunter" were the two best books I ever read and really got the fires started for me in the hobby.

"Urban Treasure Hunter" is great, and almost made me want to move to USA. Charles' books are also filled with good info. and can be read over and over.

i found the Coin book really helpfull and
Urban hunter has some great ideas too..

The info will always be valuable
