Got A Couple Of Keepers In The Lane Last Night

I took today off from work, so last night I headed down to the lane last night for about 3 hours for the 10:45-ish low tide. Hit a couple of nice hot spots on clad but other than those two places the lane was mostly devoid of targets. What I hit was up higher in the wet sand, down in the low number streets. The watch and the ring were both in the shallow water and the ring was the FIRST signal, at time-plus 5 minutes! A touch of "nitro" too, as Max would say, because the 925 and CZ ring initially looked like a possible "heart stopper" in the scoop. I quickly ID'd it as silver though.

And then there's the watch. Initially I thought "Junk", but it actually lists for as much as $125 and it's a decent little watch. Either my wife or daughter will probably wear it. There's a link to it down below.

Here are a few pics of "my nut".

About $4.50 in clad too...

I took the watch to this little watch shop I go to when I find watches and the nice old Polish fellow that runs it popped it open and confirmed no water in it and everything intact. I failed to mention earlier that it wasn't working when I pulled it from about a foot deep in the wet sand at the water's edge. So he put a new battery in it and it worked like a champ. And the wife likes it so I took a couple of links out of it to make it fit and she's a happy camper. Which is a good thing, because every time I bring home another man's diamond ring I run the risk of having my Excalibur form-fitted to my head.

Here's another shot of it all cleaned up.
