And did'nt find anything earth shattering I did find items that had been left by other machines
Heres what I'm seeing.(after about 10 hours)
More stability at higher sensitivity settings and the f-75 does air test deeper than the T-2 with the t-2 not being able to run up this high because of the noise it generates.I worked a few sites in the iron running sensitivity at 95 or more staying relatively stable.
Deeper nails dosent seem to fool the machine like the t-2 sometimes signals on.I learned to ignore the signals on the t-2 it sort of a short zip fuzzy sound that usually once the hole opened up turned out to be a small nail. well when checking the similar sound on the f-75 it turned out to be small lead and brass at depths that are really amazing. percussion caps at 5 - 6 inches round pistol balls the same.in moderate to semi bad ground really impressive I believe the f-75 has an edge in smaller conductors at depth.I'm sure it would be great on targets on edge.
Target I.D. seems a little more jumpy more of a real time display when comparing it to the t-2 which seems to pretty much lock and hold a target in open fields the t-2 locks on to shotgun hulls at around 55 an stays. the f-75 is actually going to read it different just by the sizes of the shells not alot of spread but it dose have more resolution.
Not a big deal to me since I relic hunt but I could see a park hunter loving this to seperate coin types from trash.
All metal mode is alot more usable with a smoother threshold.and better resolution.
I like the depth bar on the left that a nice feature gives you an idea it might be an oldie when in a trashy environment. also the confidence bar when coresponding with the depth bar means you better dig if it's not sure thats what the target is. Real helpful!!
If youve run a t-2 there should be no problem picking this detector up and going to work with it
If you've ran the prior fisher models this will be a different world to you but not confusing just dont get stuck in the past with a nostalgic view. give it a chance it is advanced technology that does produce.
I also should state when running the F-75 noticing the small target advantage i was in the jewelry mode turning this mode off lost sensitivty to the deep small conductors bet this thing will eat up gold chains un-clasped.
Also I know ive compared it to the T-2 and im not trying to put down the t-2 in no way. it's a great machine and if you have one be confident with it its still ahead of the competition.
Ill post more as I get more field use.
