Got a Compadre yesterday...

...and will be giving it as a gift to my nephew-in-law who has expressed some interest in detecting. As luck would have it, he lives directly behind our house in the same neighborhood so I'm sure he and I will be trying out the detector in his yard, and on some of my test garden targets. So now there may be three of us who get out on Mondays (while he isn't in school), and thus, the gift of detecting is passed down through the generations, as my uncle did for me more than 30 years ago!!!

I would like to thank Gunnar for the quick and easy transaction and the machine is absolutely flawless in the original box!!!

We will be posting here once he gets familiar with the unit...I think he is going to love the Compadre! It's a fairly deep and fast machine with a great discriminator - much better than the one I had at age 10!!!

Very cool! I also really like how you got the kid Gunnar's rig..that thing was in a Masters Hands...talk about tradition and passing the love along! Nice work there CZ!:clapping::please:

That Vaquero was well trained when I got it. All I had to do was turn it loose and it would run out and find gold rings.:)
