Got a call this morning abt a lost wedding ring

I know the guy, 91 yr. old WW2 Vet. Parked in his drive way, his wife came to the door. He got ready and we went outside. I said "Well what happened? So he showed me where he was clipping branches off his tree. And he thought thats where it might have slipped off. I kid you guys not, I found it in less than 3minutes! It had been hit by a lawn mower, but could be fixed up. So's he asks me how much he owes me. I told I won't take any money from him, but he's got to mow my yard all next yr. We had a good laugh about that. He demanded we go inside and have a couple of Canuck Club shots with A couple of Coors Lights.
PS I don't need to find any more rings for awhile!!

This is a great story, I would have to say you gave him and his wife
an extra something to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day!
You can't beat the feeling you get returning something that means
so much to someone.
Three years ago we were on vacation at the
beach that are whole family goes to. We had a newly married couple
in our group and when you just married sizing of rings doesn't hold
precedence. The groom lost his titanium wedding band and it was a
lunker. I didn't find it until the last day of our vacation, we were over
on our rental of the detector but the owner was a real gentlemen and just
wanted to see us land that ring...... I presented them their ring inside a co-hog
shell. Let the water works begin, Yep great feeling!
