Got a 250 question

Gentlemen

I love the:garrett: ACE 250-- been using the thing for over 2 years. I have a simple question. When I hit a target the indicator does not stay on the target description very long. You gotta look quick. No time for a second look. Is this normal? If so Garrett might need to look into locking the indicator on the icon until the next hit. Am I the only one who is having this small issue.

Thanks

Mike

I would say that your request is a valid one. The Whites M6 is the same way. Even 2 more seconds would be good. If I remember right my old Whites IDX kept your target ID on the screen until you hit another target. Now that would be plenty of time!
You would think that a software tweek could do the trick.

I also use a:bounty: 505. The target ID stays on the screen until the next hit. I am glad to hear it is not just my tector. I still like the little critter:

I agree, 100%. I think the 250 is a great tector, Apparently so do many other folks. I am not brand or detector sensitive. I Just love detecting. I just feel like this small issue would improve an already great machine.
