Got 2 rings while cleaning the Gulf bottom this morning...one is not gold!

Spent the morning cleaning the trash from the Gulf bottom......Lots of aluminum in the trough, between the beach and the sandbar, would like to think it's from the strong west wind and wave action we had for the past few days and not MDers tossing it back?!?!.......Slow start for the first couple hours,as I was just getting the occasional clad and tabs.....first ring was stuck to the magnet in the scoop and corroding away! The second ring was a gold 1.8g that is well worn on the inside and has no markings...but I'm sure is gold. Nice work Bob! .that's gold alright...do you have a test kit at the house? Good find on that little thing..those sub 2grammers are tough signals, especially compared to a pulltab or something.:clapping:

I got one like it earlier this year, mine was two tone white and yellow weaved together and it did test as 10k. I would bet it will test good for you too... they are pretty little rings, congrats!
