Ok... So I've had my GoPro for a while now and I've used it for other projects. I would like to fix it up to work with my CTX so I can do some screen shots along with some dig videos. I'm sure someone has figured out a way to mount the GoPro on the CTX. If anyone has done this can you please post pictures of your setup and any hardware that is needed for the task?
Here is a link to the thread I recently made on my GoPro setup..... http://www.findmall.com/read.php?86,2029067
Since then I have had to think of ways to nullify the noise from the detector on each of my digs because when I went out for my first videos, noise was an issue when I was digging. Here are the videos.....http://www.findmall.com/read.php?86,2030685 . To counter the jittering and chattering I have gone to turning the volume down to 5 from wherever it was before the digs, but let the viewer listen to the tones beforehand. That is in most of the digs. The other way to counter it is to use some headphones. That would cut the sound out completely. I may start doing this since it seems to be the easiest option. This method also keeps the whole world from trying to nose dive into your high pitch holes or disturbing the neighbors. Now some people have suggested using a chest mount. There are examples of people using chest mounts on youtube. Good luck in whatever you do.
