google earth question

Google Earth is a standalone application for looking at maps and satellite imagery. Google Chrome is a browser like IE or Firefox. You can see some Google Earth (Satellite) imagery through the Google Chrome browser but it does not offer anywhere near the amount of settings, options, possibilities that you can find from using Google Earth.
