:help:Found a Discovery 2000 Radio-Shack detector it doesn't cycle through on different metals. Gives same ID and same tone. Is this machine worth repairing or should I be happy I found a coil and shaft to go with my Bounty Hunter 1100?

IMHO Be happy........

I'd just be happy- but first I would go through it and look for a loose wire or connection.

Thanks, pulled the unit apart. Did not find anything loose, i did decide to use it as parts for one I am water proofing.

Sounds like a good decision Fireguts.
