GoodWill Found $10 detector,help needs repairs?

I'd just be happy- but first I would go through it and look for a loose wire or connection.Fireguts said:Found a Discovery 2000 Radio-Shack detector it doesn't cycle through on different metals. Gives same ID and same tone. Is this machine worth repairing or should I be happy I found a coil and shaft to go with my Bounty Hunter 1100?
