First, I need to apologize for the delay in posting. I'm going to have to start hiding my digital camera, as my kids will play with it and then hide it on me.
Tuesday, I was lucky enough to get out of work early, before dark. I went to a school that I've been working for a couple years now. I've pulled A LOT of nice old coins out of here. They're all nice and deep. I've pulled one IH out of here, as well as an old .50-caliber fired Spencer carbine bullet. As a result, I tend to dig all deep Zinc hits. Well, Tuesday evening, I got another one of those deep Zinc hits. I ended up digging this:

It's not marked, but I'm fairly certain it's silver, as I had to "cook" it briefly in my electrolysis tank, followed by a quick polish with baking soda, and it reacted the same way good silver does.
Wednesday, I went back to the same school, before I had to go to work. I started working the area I found the medallion in. I haven't really searched that spot, as it's almost always covered with a little water, but with the dry conditions we've had lately, this little spot has dried into moist dirt, instead of sopping wet.
Sure enough, I had been there for about 15 minutes, and I pulled up this from 6":

It was originally really stained up from the constantly moist dirt. I had to "cook" it a bit in my electrolysis tank, followed by a brief polish with baking soda.
Note: the picture(s) might not show up due to bandwidth limitations. If the picture(s) are not there, check back at a later time.
