Good weekend in a new bean field. Nice V!

Got permission to hunt a new field. I am coming to realize that there were usually more than one house in these fields. Had a power line running through the field and got a little interference from it, but was able to hunt through it. The dime was a nice surprise. The G2 sniffed out a lot of interesting stuff.

Hey Steve,
I don't find too many of them. Usually they aren't very pretty either. This is a "V" nickel. It has a Roman numeral 5 on the flip side. I hunted for years before I ever found one. I may try to clean it up a little. Thanks, for looking.

AHH....V nickel. Not sure I've ever seen the obverse of one -- any idea what the figure is, on the obverse? I have only seen the reverse; the roman numeral 5 (the "V") is what I remember. Clearly, I've never found one! :)

Very nice job, Don!
