Good to run into other Sovereign and Excalibur users even while not metal detecting.

The last two months I volunteered to work as a guide at our library for the Smithsonian "The Way We Worked" exhibit.Very interesting exhibit about the way we worked in the US from the early 1800s to the present. My job is to get people on the tour involved, example ask questions, what was your first job?Your dream job? and listen to their stories.Work subject is very positive and most people smile and are eager to talk about their first jobs like they wish they were still there.Anyway I usually wear a sport coat and sometimes even a tie.Last week I wore my Minelab cap and one of the guys said he had a Excalibur LOL nothing worst than two Minelab hunters talking about treasure hunting.I survived without getting into trouble being distracted talking about metal detecting, tomorrow is my last day as a guide. This has been a very positive experience.HH Ron

I get that a good deal on the beach Ron. Grab a seat on the liers bench and swap fish stories. I like to talk detecting anytime. Xwife hates being with me when someone gets me started because she knows its going to take some time to shut me up. 21 years this year and im more excited now than when i first started out.

Dew,

My wife says the same thing when I get talking detecting as I never shut up, in fact my customers in my bar I own say the same thing when I get talking to someone else that detects or over hears I do detecting. Then I got to bring out one of my boxes of odds and ends or my coins and rings I have found. I think I get that way on the computer some times as I can write some long post once I get started.

This is a fun hobby either finding things or talking about them

Rick

Dew,LOL there are a few around who tell some big fish stories, which makes this hobby more fun and interesting. Thanks Ron

Rick one of these times I'm going to stop at your place and order and beer and a hamburger. Thanks Ron
