Prep1957 stopped to talk as I was hunting a field site today.
Good to meet a fellow detectorist in this part of Illinois.
We will get out together and find some treasure one of these days. Merf
 
Hope you had better luck tonight than I did 27 cents in clad and small silver ring 1 inch deep.Very nice night to be out hunting.Nice to meet you.Prep
 
Right after you left I found an 1890 Indian head penny in good shape. My only good find of the day.
There was a school house on that corner in 1892.
