Hit a few parks today - dug 72 coins, twelve of them were nickels, no oldies. I did get a gold ring & a silver pendant tho. I also dug the penny that someone had cut a cross out of.

The head of Christ is stamped sterling and must weigh over 1/2 ounce at least. The ring is stamped 14 KP - which is Karat Plumb, the exact amount of gold. It fits my wife just right ! There's a blue stone and 2 small diamond looking stones in it. I'll take it to the jeweler to see just to be sure one way or the other. I'm no photographer so the ring really doesn't show it's colors well.
Happy hunting this weekend if you get out, Steve in so az
