The short time we've been here we have found some good Christian brothers and sisters. Still looking for a new home church but have found a very nice Bible study group. We found too some people who have a lot in common wih us. One of them is a guy named Ken. He is a Deputy Sheriff working Corrections. I mentioned using the detector the last time out and he wants to go with me on the next outing. I'll have to loan him one of my detectors (wish I hadn't sold the Garrett 1000 now but oh well). Anyway I mentioned a place I would love to take him to hunt is an old school. No longer being used but I have to find the owner and get permission first but it is a 1924 built school.

Talk about surprise when Sherry got an email from his wife stating they have talked to the brother of the owner of the property and permission has been granted to hunt it anytime we want. Check this out:

I imagine we will find some silver and maybe a few 1800's coins. Sure looking forward to enjoying having a new hunting buddy and to find some old items at this school.

Will let you know what we find. Have to find out what day he has off work so we can go there.
