Good Start with the Pro

It has been a fun and educational week and a half with the AT Pro! I managed to find 73 coins so far this year, 9 of them being silver so that's pretty cool. The usual clad, along with some wheats popped up. I also broke the 1900 barrier with the "2 ORE" Norwegian coin. There is major Norwegian pioneer history around here so I was happy to see the coin! The 1893 "2 ORE" chimed in at 66 to 67 consistently so I decided to dig (normally I wouldn't because the area is littered with old shotgun shells that sound similar). The Pro had no trouble finding the 1916 5 cent "fish scale" about 4 inches deep...TINY coin! I'm still having trouble with deciphering those darn bottlecaps, but I am learning. By the way, I found all these coins at sites that I have previously hunted at least 4 or 5 times. I really like my AT Pro, and again I must say that the ProPointer is so awesome!

Happy Hunting...

Wow some nice coins in that hunt. Congrats !
What signal ( number ) did the ( silver ) fishie come in on the AT PRO ?

The fish scale sounded 75-77. It's cool to get an ID number, I found 2 fishies last year with my GTaX 550, and I just remember them being a belltone. I forgot to mention that 3 of the dimes (Rosie, Merc, Georgivs VI) came from the same hole. Just a couple of inches below them was an old chunk of IRON. I was super impressed.

Very nice finds, do you know what that 2 ore is made out of?? Congratulations on your success. -- Randy
