Good relic day

Had a good relic day with the D2. Couple thimbles, some under buttons, two 69 cal musket balls, nice flat button with rocking guilt, and what I believe to be an early US Militia Eagle button.

T-DUB, I hate to disagree with you, but I'd say this wasn't a good relic day, but a Great relic day. You and the D2 did well. Love those buttons. It's always fun to find them still in good shape with the gold gilt still on them along with the backs and shanks. Take your time at this site, I'll bet there's more relics there to be found. A Blast from the Past. Congrat's and stay at it. These will look great displayed. (y)

Double Gilt No 2 is the BM. Most gilt left on a button that I have found. I always grid over and over, you are correct, more to be found.
