Had to slow down & go deeep. Got this baseball field that must have a hunter living close by. Rarely find any fresh drops or much of anything. Outfield is deep with moist topsoil. So I decided to take the Pro turn up the bars and hunt real slow. Got 10 coins most shallow at 6". Which is all the way to the hilt of my digger. 5 Q'S 1 D 3 N'S & 1 pennie. This hunter has most of the Alum. cleaned out but my deepest target was a brass shotgun shell end. It had to be at least 8" deep. It came in as a bouncing degraded zinc cent. The nickles were the most fun. They were all at 6 to 7 " deep. Vdi moving from 49 to 53. Got 2 dovetail pull tabs in this slot also. So I figure if this guy is leaving these deep nickels & pull tabs maybe just maybe there might be a little gold down there. Also there won't be much found deeper than 8" in this field cause thats where the topsoil meets the clay vein and thats where everything stops. Going back today with my GTI1500 tipped with the 12" coil just to compare the machines.
