Good News, Bad News

I'll start with the bad news.
I have a X-Terra 50 and on last thursday I noticed that parts of the right side of the LCD screen was fadeing away. The fourth arrow of the depth meter, parts of the pinpoint and sen circle were missing. I called Minelab Fri. and there going to send me a new unit, I should have it by Tue. Way to go Minelab...

Now for the Good News.
Even thoe the X-50 is going bad, it still can find silver coins. Sat. I was down in Missouri, at a older school, MD'ing out in the ballfield and I found two coin spill's. The first one had a 1934d WLHD, a 43 Quarter, a rusty nail and some chrome thing, all in the same hole. the second spill was about 15' from the first one. In that hole I found a 1940s WLHD, 3 rosie's, 1 Merc and 2 nickels. Yahoo, my best coin spill so far. also out in that field I found another Merc, a rosie, a necklace, a whistle and 4 wheats. Not a bad day for a MD'er that is going bad, Heck, that was my best silver day since I started MD'ing 2 yrs ago. After Sat. hunt, that put's my silver total at a 105 silver coins for the year. I hope to beat last years total of 167 silver coins.

I'm going to try to post a picture of Sat. coins. I hope it works.
