Good News <> Bad News

I guess I'll get tha bad news out of tha way.

My camera is sick.

It won't zoom. It doesn't open all tha way,
and when I try to turn it off, it says "lens
error". Then I have to turn it on and off a
few times to get tha lens ta go backin.

Good News.

Electronics are cheaper. I was able to get
a better camera for less money. Both are
Cannons, so I don't have to learn a new
format.

Here is a photo of my new camera, taken
with my sick camera.

I wanted to try and photograph two items
that I never could get a good pic on with
my old camera.

Not good focus, but that's tha best pic I
got of that pin.

This polished stone is very hard to get a
good pic of.

I think I can get better at it.

Thanks for puttin up with my test shots,

Cool! Dissect the old one! Just some dirt in the gears I bet! Then you could have a back up.

Mine is about to take a dump too! It seems I burned a spot on it last week.

I got a ding on tha lens housing.

Those lenses are so delicate,
if anything is bent, it's usually
toast.

If they last long enough, I pass
them down ta my kids.

HH,

Nice camera Tabdog. (Hard to go wrong with Canon.) The lens issue is pretty common with all the newer digitals it seems.

Made a few improvements on photoin

that rock and Remember Pearl Harbor

pin.

I'm becomin a regular Arkie Cameraologist.
