Good morning from someone new here

Crikhunter

New member
Good morning all. Glad to see a Christian md forum. My name is Steve and I'm from the south east coast of Florida near West Palm Beach. Just received my first md (a teknetics G2) and I'm looking forward to learning how to use it. Never md'd before. Doing research, etc. I'm 55, married happily for 34 years, part time music minister for my local church, recently retired with 27 years at my county Sheriffs Department. I'm interested in learning how to hunt the beaches and looking for relics inland. Looking forward to meeting some folks in my area to hunt with.

Steve

I'm not a beach hunter but do hunt relics in Eastern Ky, where I live. But there's plenty of members on here with beach experience. Questions, just ask away, someone will answer.
God Bless,
KyBud

Welcome to the forum. I think seeker41 just bought a place in florida . He may be able to help you.

Welcome crikhunter and glad to have you with us as a Brother-in-Christ.....We have a lot of Steves, so I will call you crikhunter to keep from being confused which I am too often these days! Congrats on purchasing a detector and your interest in MD'ing! There are many who hunt beaches and someone will answer any questions that you have! My brother, Cliff and I, hunted the beach in Fort Lauderdale, FL when I was down there in 1984, but haven't been down since and couldn't beach hunt as none near me, only along the rivers and I didn't water hunt! May God Bless you to find some really nice goodies and have fun detecting! Amen! Ma Betty
