Just registered this morning after a fellow firefighter pointed me here. I have a Tesoro Eldorado. Love it! Been using it for 3 years now. I have the stock coil and a small 4" sniper coil. I was just looking at the post on the big 10" concentric coil - I'm interested...

It will be interesting to hear about the 4" coil, I haven't read much about those.

I assume you're a firefighter yourself and that's how you got into detecting? If that's the case, you might want to research the the Golden uMax as a compliment to the Eldorado.

Thanks everyone! Yes - I live in Meridian. Been a firefighter full time for almost 10 years. The little sniper coil works great on the eldorado. I found my first (and only) silver coin with it. Found it in a tree ring at a local park.
