Good: month of May, Bad: No gold rings, Ugly: Broke coil this morning

The month of May was ok, got in a total of 11 morning beach hunts....No gold rings and only one tiny, .2g, silver toe ring found this morning. A total of $66.78 in clad and $33.00 cash:cool: 2 e-cigs, Four cell phones,... I don't bring them home any more unless their dead like the one I found this morning that got rained on, instead I give them to one of the beach attendants who is out there all day, which is most likely where the owner is and makes it more convenient for them to pick it up.

Beach hunt started slower than usual this morning. I missed getting out yesterday morning because I had to try and find a lost ring in the water with no luck., and since I hit the same beaches every Sat & Sun, I thought my clad count would be bigger this morning...Poachers!!! Anyway.....,$3.82 this morning including a shinny 64 Kennedy and a 1918 Lincoln (not together) , two finds that makes you go:shrug:, $21.00 cash,Tiny silver ring 36TID, bunch of junk jewelry, another one hitter, the pink beads has a 925 ring on it for a charm,5 beers and one water...I always take a pocket string back sack with me for these situations:)

Second time the HF DD elliptical coil has broken on me. Don't know why they put such thin ears on it. Calling ML in the morning!!! GL ALL

They can be fixed ,epoxy resin ,and then another thin plastic lug again epoxied onto the outside,
but if still under warranty then it should get changed.

Bob, I'm jealous,,, you found a 64 Kennedy. The only year they were 90% silver. I've found a few of the 40%ers but never the 90% Kennedy

Sorry to hear about your coil. You would think they would make those ears a lil tougher

Looks like it was a pretty good month Bob. Not a banner one, but you've been doing pretty well all along.

I have to agree with Mark about the coil ears. For what it's costing them in warranty repair/replacement, they could easily have had new injection moulds made to rectify the problem.
