Good luck bottle

Here are a couple pics of a bottle that the forman found on the construction site we're hunting. It reads "THIS BOTTLE CONTAINS GOOD LUCK BLUING". Anybody know anything about this bottle. He has really been friendly to us and lets us know of new sites that they are headed to. A buddy says it's not pre-1900 because of the diamond mark on the bottom...but the wall thickness of the glass is thicker on one side than the other towards the bottom. I know nothing about bottles so any info would be appreciated.

Hello Keith, it looks like a crown seal bottle to me. Is does have an irregular bottom which denotes an older type, but as I'm not too familiar with later the bottles from over there, perhaps someone may be able to help. Have you tried the net for info? All the best with this one.

Oh, just a thought to keep in mind that might help for future finds too: early crown seal bottles had a spun on top, in which the seam ran from the base to the middle of the neck. However, later designs had the seam run from the top to the base of the bottle.
