good little hunt and met new partner!

clad hunt at the park with the MXT--went with the 950. hit a spot at lunch full of tarnished nickels and few other coins in a 2x2 area. went back after work. been over it before with non ID machines. Compass had pulled a few. wound up with 7 nickels from this hole- 2 quarters and 2dimes and 5 zincs. the little spill been there a while. loving ID. the machine tried to overload once--so many. couple tabs too. love those spots

the day finished off with a Georgia bulldog token and a game token, junk bangle, one heart attack +98 $1 signal--(1/2 copper elbow LOL! ) total $3 bucks change--- AND A NEW HUNTER- NICE YOUNG COLLEGE ALL AMERICAN YOUNG MAN WITH HIS FIRST MACHINE. he had a Vaquero tough one for newbie but was doing fine with two junk rings and 3 wheaties already in our trash pile parks. in three weeks of ownership. i showed him some disc tricks with my wedding band and a nickel. he was covering holes carefully, removing trash, - and having fun! i directed him to this group of Forums and the Tesoro Cheer leader team here and told him of the wealth of info he could get from great folks. look forward to some after classes/work hunts!

this kids gonna be great hunter and great for the hobby. and he is younger than 3 of my machines

That's super. The "new" hunter would be my best find of the day. HH, Nancy

Agree with Nancy ... the new hunter was your best find. And, you have some good luck coming from helping out a newbie.
