Well, I put on a couple of garbage bags and stuffed my fat Winter palsied legs into my cheap leaky waders and took the Pro into one of the trashiest places I know...Big old dockyard area that was burnt and wrecked long ago...full of iron, nails, melted metal, all sorts of burnt bricks, glass, tabs, foil, crown caps, washers, bolts, shotgun shells, wire, just a wild cacophany of tones etc...set up Pro Zero, 40 disc, Iron off, and sens mid to low...stock coil...the thick ice plowed out some of the mud and rearranged the bottom, Felt along with my feet for the newly exposed deep hardpack...Got a 45 Merc, and a 54 Wheat and clad..and a big copper bracelet that SHOULD have been gold! an old homemade lead sinker..good nickel count...

This is a tough place to deal with from all the audio overload, so nobody hunts it. The Pro picks through the mess, and can lock onto a good target along with several others under the coil, the user can judge by the size, depth, and tightness of the ping on what might be down there..(fast circuit recovery makes this possible to a degree) it felt good to hear all that audio after such a long Winter, but my ears and Central Processing Unit were completely shelled after a few hours!.

I've got a lot of silver coins and jewelry out of here, but only one gold ring to date...I was punching chain type targets, anything above 35 and soft awful tones...even with 40 disc, you still can get a few high 30 signals coming in..one thing, I got a nice modern coin spill that had a Q, D and N in it all together...sorry for the typical crappy pics...i'm getting new glasses next week, maybe that will help!

Looks like a challenging site to hunt.
You did well in it congrats !

WTG with those finds. One of these days we will have to have a contest to show our will used water hunting equipment.

Good hunt Mud, silver coins would keep a fellow nibbling away there for sure, and if one gold goodie is there, surely with your lethal skills more gold will find it's way into your stash!!:detecting: Maybe try some Google Glass and set some real time GPS waypoints and they might have a built in magnifier

Glad to hear that the H[sup]2[/sup]O up there is reverting to it's liquid form and brave souls like you can scoop up some hidden treasure! That Copper sure sounds off!
