I did a dumb thing I wrote a long story almost a book and thought I would add the pic when I did it erased all that I typed. In a nut shell what I was saying is not all stuff is deep and I have used and talked to Mike Moutray about the Iron infested sites and have trouble just like the ones below are having in other post.It nulls the Iron out misses the coin.maybe if I get unlazy again I will rewrite everything. But here is pics of finds that the Big E missed the day befor,I am working several old schools over dating back to 1890's closed in 1993,I welcome anyone to come hunt with me and try there luck.As I rake the surface trash and remove more nuts and bolts the better the Big E gets.If I hunted in places that where hit hard and people removed the trash I can see where deep is much better.dang I hate that I erased that other post.Anyways I am not running the Bog E down,I own one and am showing the other side of the coin.I have access to so many detectors because here in about two weeks I should be in full swing of my dealership.I come from the Professional Bass Fishing business and am very good at priduct review and not bias to anything, except those that work.In my other erased post,I said I would be glad to share some of my old closed down High Schools to be hunted, maybe we can learn something together, this area is very virgin and I know there is more Silver then I am finding but I have to clear the way for the Big E buy digging shallow targets and junk and raking the surface off of other stuff.I can cherry oick coins under five inches much easier with some other units thru these areas better. The last thing I want to have is some guy walking behind my Big E and picking up coins like the ones in the pic that came from 2" or less in this area I hunted the day befor with the Big E.
Relax all I amnot running the Big E down just want others to beaware crawl befor you walk, walk befor you run.Invitations open all year and I will not hunt a certain section nor clean out the site just to let some see the frustration I have experienced. Then I will take a low end detector and cover it in about 3/4 less time and show you some shallow silver you missed,if its there.
Also I have a question why do some wheat Pennies read like a SILVER HIT.They peg my cross hair in the top right corner, they are deeper wheaties too, about 6" and 8"

you need to go find yourself an easier place to learn what your doing....it's that simple...you way to far ahead of yourself useing how many different units at once and I dont think you have had the XS very long right? You need to crawl before you walk and so on and so on....relax man your a little bit trashed out.Take the unit to a less crap area and LEARN it more than just jumping in and makeing all kinds of compares and cant do's.....because I know it can do's <IMG SRC="/forums/images/wink.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=";)"> not meant to be a put down in any way or to offend you.....but WOW

Hey Rich I have had my New Explorer XS since christman and really haven't had to much of a chance to go out and play with it. I have owned a Fisher CZ-7A Pro before and a Fisher 1280-X water machine. I have chatted with Brian and Charles From Upstate N.Y. and they gave me some tips which I have posted on my web site and useing those tips and I have about 25 hours or so behind the machine and here is my 3 day haul!! I really started paying attention to the audio and started off in some clean area's to make it easy on myself at first. But I'm just starting to get a hang of this machine and I will ALWAYS OWN ONE from this point on!!!!!
Day 1 is at the bottom
Day 2 is on top and
Day 3 is next
Wish me luck tomorrow on Day 4 =))
