Ijust traded my like new DFX, for a GARRETT 2500, I have had garretts be for and they were,
very,good detectors,WHATS the ups and downs,THE deal is done, I just wanted to know!!:please:
 
Save the true all metal mode for areas where there should be deep targets. If you work areas with a lot of trash, expect the detector to sound off on everything, including the DEEPIES! But the machine still gives a probable target too. Of course if there is too much trash, switch to the disc mode and you can still flip back and forth with the machine retaining its previous setting. :)
