i went metal detecting today and found a pull tab and a half a pull tab got lucky with a clad dime and then found a pencil and right on top of the ground was some foil i picked up,I was walking and notice plastic bottles on the ground and i through them in my pouch and then walked to a trash can and throw them out,i wasnt done yet i found 2 quarters in one hole and i had probably told everyone in the park about it,i had like 5 people walking and talking with me,i felt famous,i had one guy dig such a big hole and he found a almost whole soda can and we all thought it was the funniest thing,and then somone joked about the hole being so big that it looked like we were burying a body. one of the guys joked about getting a pick axe for the river banks and i said go get it.but it was late around dinner time so we are going to hit this soccer field again,great day full of fun!

Sounds like you had fun.
Make sure you leave the places you dig better than they were.
Leave no foot print otherwise your detecting in those places
will be closed to everyone.

thanks for the tip joel,if i detected a golf coause the only holes that would be seen are the 18 of them !
